In this video I’m going to talk about the four views options available in the Events Calendar module. Be sure to reference the Events Calendar Module Settings List which includes a summary of every setting that is available and what it does. You should also check out the Events Calendar Module Demos to see how the module works and get some inspiration.
We made it a goal to provide every setting we could think of for you to easily customize the Events Calendar. The settings include customizing the visibility of the Events date, changing the calendar view, customize the visibility of the month, week, day, list view button.
Show Upcoming Event Time in Calendar
Enabling or disabling this option allows you to show or hide the time respectively inside the event calendar.
Default View
This option will allow you to set the default view of the calendar. There are four view options that you get in the dropdown:
Month View
This view is set by default and this will the standard calendar view having the month name at the top center and dates under that.
Week View
When the view is set to week then you will see the ongoing week dates range at the top center and week dates and timings at the horizontal and vertical tabs.
Days View
When the view is set to day then you will see the current date at the top center and day name and timings at the horizontal and vertical tabs.
List View
When the view is set to list then you will see the ongoing week dates range at the top center and the events will be shown as the lists having the day name and date of the event in the left and right corners respectively as a label and then the name of the event is shown with the timings.
Show Month View Button
Enabling this option will display a Month button at the top right corner which allows the visitors to see the event calendar in a month view if the month view is not set by default.
Show Week View Button
Enabling this option will display a week button at the top right corner which allows the visitors to see the event calendar in a week view if the week view is not set by default.
Show Day View Button
Enabling this option will display a day button at the top right corner which allows the visitors to see the event calendar in a day view if the day view is not set by default.
Show List View Button
Enabling this option will display a list button at the top right corner which allows the visitors to see the event calendar in a list view if the list view is not set by default.
